Who We Are
The Inclusion Project is a community-driven initiative led by two mothers who are passionate about creating opportunities for inclusion, acceptance, and awareness for individuals with autism. The project is founded on the belief that every person, regardless of their abilities, deserves to be recognized, respected, and included in all aspects of society. Emily and Abby are committed to raising awareness about the importance of inclusion, advocating for resources and support for families, and promoting acceptance of neurodiversity.
Our efforts often focus on providing educational resources, supporting autism-friendly events, and engaging with the broader community to reduce stigma and build understanding. The Inclusion Project aims to create spaces where individuals on the autism spectrum feel seen, heard, and valued—whether in schools, workplaces, or public spaces. Through our advocacy and passion, we are helping to foster a more inclusive world for people with autism.

Lightning Bolts
The lightning bolt symbol holds deep significance for The Inclusion Project. It represents the inner strength, power, and energy that parents of neurodivergent children embody. Just like a bolt of lightning, these parents are fierce advocates for their children, showing up with unwavering determination, whether their presence is quiet and steady or bold and thunderous. The lightning also symbolizes the radiant impact that neurodivergent children have on the world. Despite the challenges they may face, these children bring light to even the darkest, stormiest situations, offering clarity and brightness where it is needed most.
The thunder, in this context, symbolizes the voice and presence of these children — loud, proud, and unyielding. It is a reminder that their voices should never be silenced, whether they are verbal or non-verbal. The belief is that through advocacy and acceptance, the world can witness the incredible strength, energy, and brilliance of both the children and their parents. In essence, the lightning bolt stands as a powerful metaphor for the resilience, love, and advocacy that fuel the movement toward a more inclusive world.
